On Monday, the Ministry of Education ordered the announcement of summer vacations in schools of Rajasthan amid rising temperatures. Now the summer holidays will start from May 17 from May 11, 7 days earlier.
The scorching heat broke all records even in May. The scorching sun and heat wave have made everyday life miserable. Due to the ever-increasing heat, the education department has also changed the timing of summer vacations to relieve schoolchildren.
According to the order of the Ministry of Education, all state and private schools in the state will be on vacation from Wednesday, May 11 until the end of the session. However, teachers were not given any leave. They will be tasked with handling the preparation work for the upcoming session along with preparing the exam results. While the classes whose annual exams continue, continue as usual.

The scorching heat has alarmed not only the state but the entire country. School holidays have been declared in many states due to the scorching heat. Therefore, in Rajasthan, summer vacation has now been declared from 11 May to 23 June. The decision will provide schoolchildren with relief from the heat.
In Rajasthan, the temperature has risen above 45 degrees. According to the meteorological service, the havoc of the scorching heat will continue in the coming days. This can cause the temperature of the state to rise by 2 to 3 degrees, further alarming the common man. The order of the Education Department will relieve small children from rising temperatures.
